Jessica is the owner of Hope House Family Services PLLC. Eastern North Carolina is home to her and she is passionate about healing and preserving the family unit. Jessica began her journey with a compassion to help at risk children in her community in 2009 . While completing her undergraduate degree, Jessica volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem and became a licensed foster care provider. She completed an internship focused on the prevention of child abuse and neglect and transitioned into intensive in-home therapy services, where she started her Masters internship and eventually became a lead clinician and supervisor, guiding others to provide exceptional care to clients and their families. Jessica gained foundational experience working with a local group therapy practice as she established her private therapy practice. She values all she has learned through education, experiences and connections and has applied this to her practice as an outpatient therapist. Collaboration and networking are a huge part of Jessica's personal and professional life. It is her hope that she fulfills her call to be an agent of change in her community on micro, mezzo, and macro levels. Most of all, she desires to continually see beauty come from ashes by the healing of the people and families that surround her.
Jessica uses a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach in her therapy sessions. Her lens allows her to see her clients in such a way that breathes hope, healing, and restoration. She is solutions focused and often uses CBT and attachment based therapy techniques. Jessica sees children, teens, women, and families. A few of her specialties include life adjustments, anxiety, family disruptions and separations, and parenting/co-parenting.
